Tony's Projects

I know that all of you know just how clever Tony (your Dad, brother, and/or uncle) is, but I think you may want to see pictures of some of his clever projects. Over the years he has taken pictures of things he has done. Now I'm putting them on the blog in honor of his 69th birthday. These are accomplishments within the last ten years since he came to Idaho.

A log box, situated on our deck right by the back door ~ easy access to wood during the cold, snowy winter months (painted to match all the house trim).

For Dennis' pizza store, Tony built a huge trash container (complete with routing out the word "trash" and painting the word white). I think he was so pleased with his job that he built a miniature trash container for the office to match his new desk.

20 ton press built around an air/hydraulic jack.

A trailer for hauling our ATV (4-wheeler) to the campsite, yard waste, lumber from local hardware store, and miscellaneous items.

A new set of steps up to the patio as well as new railing all around the patio

Two different kind of step stools for his shop

Drawers for many miscellaneous items in shop.

Wall cabinets and base cabinets in shop

Plate racks for decoration

A shoe rack cabinet and a printer cabinet for other people

A remodel of the kitchen cabinets

A picture Tony took on one of our trips, then printed on 4 pages and put together to hang up in his shop with the nail that was made in this blacksmith shop.

Pizza store counters made for Dennis & Jeanna's
pizza stores.

A rail built to display Sharon's paintings. Tony also built all the frames for the pictures.

A desk built for Tony....a facade built for Sharon's old desk....two filing cabinets built to go beside the chest of drawers.

Refinished old bar stools

Mud flaps made for motor home.

A lean to built beside the garage for storing ATV

A box built for keyboard before leaving UK

Planters built for outside the house.

Light fixtures built in dining room.

Fence built along driveway.

Sewing machine repairs also keep Tony busy. This is probably the oldest sewing machine he has worked on....from the University of Idaho.

Increasing shop size to make room for the metal lathe.

Repairing ATV

Doors built for Sharon's cross stitch (small holiday icons to be put on the door for various holidays). Tony built eight of these doors and now Sharon has to cross stitch about 80 icons.

More views of Tony's desk.

Platforms built for Dennis & Jeanna's den for TV viewing.

Belt grinder used for removing large amounts of metal

Made an extension on this tote for a friend so that the tote could be used behind his pickup and camper

Took bricks off of front of house (lower portion) and replaced it with wood.
