June Birthdays and Anniversaries

Happy Anniversary Jonathan & Rachael, June 1st, 2002 (7 years)

Happy Birthday to the two June birthdays in the Singleton family!!

Jacqueline - June 1st

Jonathan - June 11th , the big "40"

(Both of these birthday pictures were taken when Sharon and Tony were visiting UK in the fall of 2008 - Jacqueline was geocaching at the time; Jonathan's picture was taken at the morning after wedding brunch)

If a birthday or anniversary is coming up and you want me to put a special picture on the blog, just email it to me before the first of the month that the event takes place. Thanks. ~~Sharon

Insulators and Paintings

Below are pictures of two telephone insulators attached to a log....the bottom insulator is from USA. The top insulator is from UK. When Tony and I were in UK last fall, I saw the UK insulator wedged in a telephone pole near where Jacqueline and Terry keep their motorhome. Jonathan was able to get it unattached from the pole for me. I just wanted Jonathan to know that his efforts were not in vain.

It may not be Vincent van Gogh or Claude Monet but these pictures of Jacqueline's water color paintings are very good. I think the deal is that if I post these I have to add some of my paintings also....so here goes.

Jacqueline:

Sharon's paintings using oil paints

Sharon's paintings using water color and acrylics

Any other artists out there in the Singleton community....send pictures for me to post. It looks as if Jacqueline's lessons are paying off. Great job.

I still need some answers to the questions I sent to everyone ~ Mike, Becky, Tara, Nathan.

These are the questions:

Relate your happiest memory as a kid.

Where did you go swimming?

Tell a favorite memory of your father (In honor of Father's Day in June) :-)

Tell about a bike you had.

Tell about your first very own car.

The Murder on the Piste

Welcome to the cast of the Murder on the Piste,

Starring Claus Von Langlauf (Ski instructor & local playboy) and Matt A. Horn (Mountain guide).

Jacques Frost (Helicopter pilot) and Tracy Crevasse (Holiday rep).

Onna Tobaggan (Ski shop owner), Walter Emmental (Wealthy businessman and tight assed git)and Sophina Salopette (Sculptress).

Claus and Ava Lanche (Skiing champion).

Claus & Sophina.

They all look so innocent don't they.

What is Ava studying and who is Jacques reflecting on?

The time is the present. We were all invited to Richard Pickle's swiss ski chalet in Kloisters. Unfortunately, Richard met his untimely death during his early morning ski run, and was found dead, lying in the virgin snow. Who dunnit?

The murderer or murderers are around this table. WHO?
